ACoM

The Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACoM) became an independent Province from New Zealand in 1975. There are seven dioceses in Solomon Islands and two dioceses covering Vanuatu and New Caledonia. 

The Archbishop is the Rt Revd Leonard Dawea, a former Melanesian Brother who trained in the Dioceses of Chester and Exeter. The General Secretary is Dr Abraham Hauriasi.
